Yeah that's me in the upper right corner of the page. My wife says she loves that picture of me so, that's the one that's there.

I originally set this web site up when I ran for political office here in my home town. I ran only once (Lost by 77 votes). Then other priorities took precedence so I gave up running for office. I still help a few candidates with their campaigns, but no more for me. When you hear "Other priorities" it sounds like "oh...oh, that guy got caught doing something he shouldn't have". Not so for me. No, really, I swear! Really! It's the truth! CROSS MY HEART!

The truth is, I didn't realize how much hard work goes in to running for office. I have a new found respect for local level politicians. Fund raising, walking door to door, going to community functions, parades and events. You don't know how many of those there are in your city until you have to go to them all. "So much to do, so little time", to the extreme!

Back to this web site. I use the site now mostly to post pictures of my dog and occasionally keep my friends and family updated about things going on in my life. I'm currently writing a book. Well, during the summer months intermittently writing a book. I manage a few pages here and there. I had hoped to have finished it by the end of August '10 but now it looks like it will be February '11 at the latest. End of '10 is the real target if I really push myself starting in mid September.

So after I become a published, rich and famous, high paid, books turned into movies, author person, I'll turn, uh.., err.., have someone turn this web site into a really awesome looking interactive site with moving graphics stuff like unicorns, fairies, trolls, fire breathing dragons, vampires, zombies and carnivorous alien creatures. All of which have absolutely nothing to do with the book I'm writing. However, they would bring an astonishingly majestic, wondrously magnificent, terribly fearful, horrifying blood-curdling, striking beauty to the page. Don't you think?

Oh yeah, by the way, or btw, I've been debating on whether or not to try an open mic night at a local comedy club. Just once, just because. Got a bucket list that keeps getting longer. How long is too long for a bucket list?
